A morning stroll through the Gardens at Gantz.
Situated alongside the historic Gantz farmhouse, the gardens provide a unique look at horticulture throughout time.

Park staff and volunteers developed three main gardens to demonstrate a wide range of gardening styles:
- Garden of Yesterday
- Garden of Today
- Garden of Tomorrow

A calming way to end your visit....
The Gantz labyrinth, constructed in 2010, is surrounded by an herbal grove including American Beech, Sweet Bay Magnolia and Sassafras.

Labyrinths are ancient meditation tools used throughout the world for more than 4,000 years. Unlike a maze, the circular paths have one entrance point that leads to its center with no dead-ends.

With the weather changing and becoming cooler, the bison seem to be more active. These were just taken the other day at Battelle Darby Creek, where the bison were right up against the fence line. Talk about front row seats!

Battelle Darby Creek is one of the only places in Ohio where our national mammal can roam free in acres of open pasture. It’s truly one of the best places to visit if you’re looking for a nature cleanse any time of the year, but especially right now when the weather is a little cooler and the leaves are just starting to turn 🦬🍂🍁

Even if you’re not in the mood for kayaking (although we highly encourage it 😉) this cafe sits in one of the most beautiful spots you could find. Overlooking the Big & Little Darby Creek under a canopy of changing colors, this is one be of the best places to enjoy a warm cup of fall flavored coffee while enjoying the best thing Ohio has to offer in the fall…the beautiful changing colors of the trees.
