Visit Grove City launched the Trailblazer Awards in 2017 to celebrate the Grove City tourism community and honor the people, places, and organizations that make it successful.

A “Trailblazer” is someone or something that forges a path of greatness and guides others along the way. The Trailblazer Awards include four categories: individual, business/attraction, community event, and the latest category, Altogether Adventure. Visit Grove City will honor the nominees for the 2019 Trailblazer Awards at our Annual Adventure Meeting on October 10, 2019, at 5:30 pm

Arts in the Alley is a Trailblazing event that welcomes over 35,000 attendees annually and started 40 years ago.  This event creates an opportunity for thousands of artists and musicians to showcase their talents.  The Arts in the Alley nominator accurately notes, “…Fine Arts, Quilt, Youth Art, Crafts, and Photography have been the launch of the career of many emerging artisans.”  This community event strives to bring together locals as well as enhance the visitor experience. says, “Once the parade passes through, festivalgoers begin immersing themselves in arts in crafts at Grove City Arts in the Alley. The Grove City, Ohio, art party is a multi-day event and provides a sea of over 100 exhibitors, which are juried, so you know they’re good. Everything from jewelry and fine art, to photography and pottery, are on display. The Arts in the Alley Music and Arts Festival also features food vendors, children’s entertainment and live music.” The Grove City Chamber of Commerce continues to improve this event year after year and it truly enhances the Grove City tourism industry.
