Central Ohio is fast becoming a destination known for local craft brews. Whether you like full hops, dark lager, or light amber flavor, local brew masters have it. We have compiled a list of our favorite brew spots and upcoming events to keep you hopping all summer! (I know, I know…)

Grove City Lion’s Club Spring Craft Beer Fest The Grove City Lions Club Spring Craft Beer Fest is a fund raiser being held on April 25, 2015 at Scioto Downs  from 2 to 6 p.m. Cost is $35 pre-sale or $40 at the door for 20, 4 oz samples with over 120 varieties of Craft Beers from around the world. The is a special $5 admission fee for each Designated Driver entitling them to unlimited soda, a food voucher and a complimentary sampling glass.

 

 

hop yard2. Hop Yard 62. Craft beer is all about bringing people together that share a common interest. That is what Hop Yard 62 is about. With 17 brews on tap and several more bottled, there is always something to tasty to satisfy your buds. Plus there is live music, food trucks, and the venue is available to rent for events. It truly is a unique spot in the heart of Grove City’s Historic Town Center.  

 

 

 

 

corner stone3. Corner Stone Craft Beer and Wine. This unique place is on Parsons Avenue in nearby Olde Town. Corner Stone carries over 300 varieties of craft beer, with new selections being added every week. Fill your growler or mix your favorite beer selection  with 4 to 6 different flavors. You wont be bored at this place!

 

barrel and bottle4. The Barrel and Bottle at North Market. Cool concept inside the North Market. He loves beer. She loves wine.  Lifelong Friends. Featuring fine wines, barrels, bottles, microbrews and growlers for every taste and budget. As a bonus it is in the North Market, one of the tastiest spots in Central Ohio.

 

 

 

 

mini Plum Run5. Plum Run Winery. What?! I thought this was a craft brew list. Well little do you know that the little winery that could in Grove City , not only grows their own grapes and produces flavorful vino, is also forming a craft brewery. Stay tuned!!!
